Die Cutter

Rate: $23 / hour

Schedule: 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm 2 days per week / part time

Location: Brea, CA

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Adhesive Label Die Cutting Machine Operator & Quality Control Specialist to join our production team. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience operating ABG Die Cutting Machines and a strong background in label roll quality control. This role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining die cutting equipment while ensuring that label rolls meet quality standards before shipment.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Operate and Maintain ABG Die Cutting Machines
• Set up and adjust the machine for each job, ensuring precision cutting of adhesive labels.
• Monitor Production Runs
• Continuously check label rolls during production to ensure accuracy in size, shape, and alignment.
• Inspect finished label rolls for defects such as misalignment, improper cuts, color inconsistencies, or adhesive issues.
• Troubleshoot Issues
• Perform Routine Maintenance
• Conduct preventive maintenance on die cutting equipment to ensure smooth operation.
• Record and Report Production Data
• Maintain documentation of production output, defects, and machine performance.
  
  

Requirements, Experience & Education

• Must have 2 experience operating ABG die cutting machines in a label manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of rotary and semi-rotary die cutting processes.
• Experience in label roll quality control and defect identification.
• Ability to troubleshoot machines and quality-related issues.
• Basic mechanical skills for minor adjustments and maintenance.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced production setting.
• Experience with additional finishing equipment such as rewinders, slitters, and laminators.
• Familiarity with ISO or GMP quality standards in label production.
• Previous experience in the flexographic printing or packaging industry.
