Job: Technical Support Engineer/Field Service Engineer
Location: Northwood, OH, Full-Time, Onsite
We are seeking an individual to provide technical support to our US based customers. This includes support via phone and/or email, travel to customer sites to rectify faults or perform preventative maintenance when needed. The job requires communicating with the head office in the Netherlands for technical advice and programming assistance. The individual will also be responsible for spare parts inventory in the Northwood facility, as well as advising customers on spare parts. The job requires a self-driven person capable of managing their schedule and work priorities.
REQUIRED: Must be able to travel both domestic and internationally 10-15%

- Associates degree
- Prior electronics knowledge a plus
- Knowledge of both mechanical and electrical systems.
- Good communication, both verbal and writing.
- Excellent customer relation skills.
- Ability to trouble shoot remotely.
- Problem-solving ability and practical, hands-on attitude.
- Independent worker, taking ownership of projects.
- Team player.
- Able to work in an international service environment.
- Experience as a field service engineer a plus.
- Training and experience in mechanical and electrical systems.
- Familiarity with PLC and remote I/O.
- Ability to travel to customers across the United States when required
