Duties

• Calibrate, test, service and commission gas and flame detection systems
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair both electrical systems and instrumentation devices
• Install electrical wiring, control panels and instrumentation devices according to blueprints and specifications
• Perform routine inspections, calibrations and preventative maintenance on electrical and instrumentation equipment
• Diagnose faults in electrical circuits and instrumentation systems, identifying malfunctioning components, and making necessary repairs
• Monitor and control process variables in refining operations
• Maintain electrical distribution systems

Requirements

• 1-3 years I&E experience
• Ability to understand written safety procedures, blue prints, P&IDs, permits, and technical instruction manuals
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of electrical codes
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
• Strong mechanical aptitude and dexterity in the use of tools and equipment
• 1-3 years I&E experience
• Basic computer knowledge
• Ability to work in all weather elements
