Job Description
- Operates office equipment and assists visitors.
- Prepares inventory balance reports or lot reports
- Processes orders and compares inventories with records for accuracy.
- Counts and records stock totals manually or using a computer.
- Verifies physical stock against records, correcting errors or reporting discrepancies.
- Verifies shipment details against documents by checking counts, weights, or measurements.
- Prepares production job packets and posts production reports.
- Compiles and updates inventory data, including balances, prices, and costs.
- Reconciles inventory with office records to determine current stock levels.
- May manage the ordering, stocking, or issuing of materials, parts, and equipment.
- Use forklift to stock supplies and materials.
- Inspects and verifies incoming/outgoing shipments against documents, recording discrepancies.
- Routes shipments and records data in reports and spreadsheets.
- Reviews shipment documents, records discrepancies, and contacts shippers to resolve issues.
- Schedules shipping and receiving appointments.
- Use office machines such as phone, computers, copiers, fax, adding and labeling machines
- Performs other duties as required.
- 1-2 years of current experience.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Proficient in using computerized accounting and spreadsheet software.
- Attention to Details.
- Must have basic reading, writing and math skills.
