We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Logistics and Inventory Manager to oversee and optimize our supply chain and inventory operations. This dual-role position combines logistics management with inventory control, ensuring seamless coordination across all aspects of procurement, distribution, and stock management. Logistics Management
- Develop and implement efficient logistics strategies to ensure timely delivery of goods to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Oversee transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
- Negotiate contracts with logistics service providers to optimize costs and improve service quality.
- Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to streamline the supply chain process.
Inventory Management
- Design and maintain inventory control systems to optimize stock levels and minimize excess or obsolete inventory.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory accuracy and reconcile discrepancies.
- Analyze demand forecasts, sales trends, and lead times to ensure optimal inventory replenishment.
- Collaborate with procurement and production teams to align inventory levels with business needs.
- Implement best practices in inventory tracking and reporting for improved visibility and efficiency.
- Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
- Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
- Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
- Monitor progress and adjust as needed
- Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
- Provide administrative support to management when required.
- Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
- Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skills.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients, vendors and suppliers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required
- Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
- High school diploma required;
- Strategic thinking with a focus on operational efficiency.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to effectively handle multiple tasks simultaneously is required
- Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships with a variety of internal/external customers is required.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, high-pressure environment with minimal supervision is required.
- Customer service experience.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills required (Outlook, Excel, Access).
- Bilingual (English / Spanish) highly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Willingness to travel frequently to project sites.
- Commitment to safety and environmental stewardship.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
