Position Overview

We are seeking a Pediatrician with a passion for behavioral medicine to join our multidisciplinary team. This role focuses on diagnosing and managing behavioral, developmental, and mental health conditions in children and adolescents. The ideal candidate is experienced in working with ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, anxiety, depression, and other pediatric behavioral health concerns while providing compassionate, evidence-based care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive pediatric assessments, including developmental and behavioral screenings
• Diagnose and manage mental health, behavioral, and neurodevelopmental disorders in pediatric patients
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, and social workers to develop and implement treatment plans
• Prescribe and monitor medications when necessary, ensuring proper follow-up and safety
• Provide guidance to parents and caregivers on behavioral management strategies, therapy options, and medication adherence
• Educate families on child development, emotional regulation, and mental health interventions
• Refer patients to specialists, therapists, and community resources as needed
• Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA and ethical guidelines
  
  

Qualifications & Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatrics
• Active state medical license (REQUIRED)
• Experience or interest in behavioral medicine, child psychiatry, or developmental pediatrics
• Strong knowledge of behavioral and developmental disorders in children
• Experience with psychotropic medication management for pediatric patients (preferred)
• Excellent communication skills to support and educate families
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems
