- Conduct audits of tax returns, financial statements, and other records to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax laws.
- Review and analyze financial documents to identify discrepancies and potential tax liabilities.
- Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to management.
- Advise clients on tax-related issues and provide recommendations for tax planning and compliance.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax auditing or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
