Our team is growing! Now Hiring for an Employment Specialist for our Downtown Baton Rouge Express Employment Professionals Office. Full time Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Full Benefit package including Medical, Vision, Dental, Retirement plan, PTO and Holidays. Job performed in office daily, no remote working available, therefore must live in the Greater Baton Rouge area.
This is primarily a business development position for which you will be helping companies find great employees and helping applicants find great companies.
Daily duties include telephone calls to various companies to create interest in available candidates and uncover potential staffing needs, recruiting, writing job postings, conducting phone and in person interviews, verbal and written communication with applicants and hiring managers of companies. This is a highly demanding but rewarding fast paced work environment, we are looking for candidates that can always maintain composure and professionalism, while prioritizing multiple duties at once.
In addition will be collaborating with outside sales team to follow up on leads and understand customer requirements to provide appropriate solutions, building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships, building and supervising a bench of temporary/contract workers, and maintaining and expanding your database of customers
Experience/Job Requirements:
-Will be responsible for meeting daily and weekly activity goals
-Strong phone presence and experience connecting with dozens of people per day
-Familiarity with CRM systems and practices a plus
-Desire for professional development and growth
-Strong relational skills with a focus on relationship building
-H.S. Diploma or GED required, some college a plus
-Typing and Computer proficiency required
-Min 2 years in a professional customer service or sales position required
-Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Ability to follow directions, multi-task, prioritize, attention to detail and manage time effectively
-Previous Recruiting experience not required.
Previous experience that could lead to success in this role but not limited to is Retail Management, Inside Sales, Convention Sales, Hospitality Management and Staffing
Salary is $40,000/yr and will be eligible for raises, commission and bonuses after training period. Corporate contests and incentives also available.
