Express Employment Professionals of LAX/El Segundo is seeking Cooks for an airline catering company near LAX.
The overall goal for the cook is to produce high volume, high quality food from menus. Job responsibilities include various cooking duties including grilling, preparing sauces, etc.
Pay: $24/hr.
Hours: Different shifts
Responsibilities:
- Maintain HACCAP procedures, sanitary regulations, etc
- Maintain a safe work environment – prevent accidents to self/coworkers
- Work under pressure in a face paced hot kitchen
- Culinary knowledge of terms, procedures and practices
- Accurately monitor wastage
Requirements:
- 3 years experience in a high volume food service with at least 1 year experience/exposure to menu research and development
- Flexibility to perform assigned tasks independently or as part of a team
- Flexibility (different shifts - night, weekends, holidays)
- Reliable, quality conscious, safe worker
Salary : $22 - $24
