Express Employment Professionals is recruiting a Shipping Clerk to join a business in Milton-Freewater.
As a Shipping Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods in the warehouse. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work efficiently will contribute to the overall success of operations. Responsible for processing shipping orders in a timely and accurate manner.
This position requires daily communication with a wide variety of people, including management, co-workers, growers, sales desks, and truck drivers. Must be able to multitask and work under pressure from busy shipping days. Must be able to adjust to a flexible schedule when needed.
Responsibilities
- The clerk position is responsible for all shipping functions, processing orders, and adjustments as needed.
- Handle issues arising in shipping or inventory handling.
- Work closely and interdependently with the Shipping Supervisor and crew.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure accurate order fulfillment and timely shipment of products.
- Maintain compliance with the USDA Mexico export program.
- Maintain compliance with other export and food safety programs.
- Must be able to understand inventory reports and process data accordingly.
- Answer phones to coordinate appointments or questions from brokers.
- Filing is required.
- Experience with REDLINE, CompuTech, and/or order entry is helpful.
- Check-in/out truck drivers with proper bills of lading and all export paperwork.
- Manage order tracking (IFCO) and CHEP pallets.
- Manage inspection requests, Phyto’s, orders, TTPO hauls, Weekly Sales Reports, and balance inventory.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
