Currently, they are seeking a Lead Estimator to head and manage a team of 3-4 people. Key Responsibilities :
- Review and analyze blueprints, specifications, and other project documents to prepare accurate time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
- Utilize estimating software such as Planswift, Equal, or MC2 to generate detailed cost breakdowns.
- Work closely with project managers to develop project budgets and timelines.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring the best prices for materials and services.
- Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and gather essential information for precise estimates.
- Implement cost control measures to ensure projects remain within budget throughout the lifecycle.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders, clearly outlining estimates and supporting justifications.
- Stay current on industry trends, materials, and regulations to ensure estimates reflect accurate and up-to-date costs.
