Express Employment Professionals in Taunton, MA is looking for a full-time Business Development Representative to bring in new business and develop a broad client base for its recruiting and staffing services. The Business Development Representative will identify business opportunities, engage with key decision-makers, and promote and sell our portfolio of business services. Previous sales experience and a proven track record required. Hours: Full time, Monday through Friday / 8:00am – 5:00pm
Pay Rate: $45,000 per year plus uncapped commission
Business Development Representative Responsibilities:
- Effectively meet with decision-makers to assess needs and secure accounts
- Make 100 sales calls/visits weekly
- Document all calls/visits in contact management system and implement follow-up plan
- Develop a quarterly sales plan identifying potential new clients and business opportunities
- Introduce Express through discovery, planned appointment and telephone calls
- Research accounts, identify and meet with key decision-makers focusing on prospects’ needs
- Develop unique value-added sales opportunities
- Sell all products and service lines
- Meet with internal team daily to ensure sales and recruiting are in sync and clients’ needs are being met
- Research community activities to develop awareness of the local labor market, recruiting opportunities, social media and industry trends
- Attend networking meetings and events to promote services and connect with business leaders
- Other duties as assigned
Outside Sales Representative Requirements:
- 3 years in sales, account management, business development, or related experience
- Demonstrated success in onboarding clients and new business
- Outgoing personality, comfortable interacting with people at all business levels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong sales and interpersonal skills, both in person and over the phone
- Strong computer skills: PC environment, MS Word/Excel, ability to quickly learn proprietary/online database software
