Responsibilities :
- Financial Reporting & Analysis :
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Analyze financial data and generate reports to support business decisions.Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory standards.Cost Accounting & Inventory Management :Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs, variances, and profitability.
Oversee inventory accounting, including reconciliations and valuation.Work closely with operations to ensure accurate cost tracking and reporting.Budgeting & Forecasting :Assist in the development of annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts.
Provide variance analysis and recommend cost-saving opportunities.Support long-term financial planning and strategy.Internal Controls & Compliance :Maintain and improve internal control procedures to safeguard company assets.
Support audits (internal & external) by preparing necessary documentation.Ensure tax compliance and assist with regulatory filings.Process Improvement & Systems Management :Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Work with ERP and financial systems to ensure data integrity.Assist in software upgrades and integrations related to financial reporting.Qualifications :
Previous experience as an Assistant Controller or Senior Accountant is requiredPrevious experience in the Manufacturing Industry is requiredPrevious experience with ERP is required, EPICOR is a plusExpert with Microsoft ExcelPrevious experience with Cost Accounting is requiredBachelor's Degree is a plusStrong knowledge of GAAP, cost accounting, and financial reporting.Bills of Material experienceSRGDH
