Job Description : We are seeking a skilled Brake Press Operator to join a local manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a press brake machine, reading blueprints, and working with sheet metal. This position requires attention to detail, strong mechanical skills, and the ability to perform heavy lifting.
Pay Rate : $18-20 / hr DOE
Responsibilities :
- Study blueprints and specification sheets to understand technical requirements
- Set up and operate a computer-controlled press brake to project specifications
- Ensure proper positioning and alignment of metal inside the press brake
- Monitor the pressing process to maintain accuracy and quality
- Measure and inspect finished sheet metal to ensure it meets specifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the pressing process
- Perform routine maintenance on the press brake to ensure optimal performance
- Comply with all health and safety standards in the manufacturing facility
