Express Employment Professionals of Everett are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented individuals for the position of Heavy Assembler I . for a manufacturing company located in Sultan, WA. This is a direct hire opportunity with multiple openings on both day and swing shifts.
Key Details :
- Day Shift : Monday - Thursday, 4 : 00 a.m. - 2 : 30 p.m.
- Swing Shift : Monday - Thursday, 2 : 30 p.m. - 1 : 00 a.m.
- Starting Pay : $18.50 - $23.89 per hour
Essential Functions :
Perform highly repetitive, simple short-cycle mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly following prescribed routines.Follow demonstrated steps and make simple adjustments with liberal tolerances.Handle moderate to heavy components frequently, with tasks involving walking or standing most of the time.Run schedules and understand and decipher part numbers.Follow work instructions, drawings, established quality standards, and safety protocols.Meet defined production expectations and adhere to schedules.Read and recognize assembly parts and their subcomponents by size for application of assembly.Package and label products and perform computer transactions.Meet all company work schedule and attendance expectations and perform within the physical and environmental demands of the job.Additional Job Responsibilities :
Alert Lead or Assistant Supervisor to material shortages, quality, safety, or personnel issues.Pull materials for assembly and put materials away.Replenish parts bins.Participate in process improvement events, as directed.Assist with other functions within the department, as directed.Assist other departments with various duties and projects, as directed.Participate in physical inventories.Keep work area clean and organized.Attend required meetings.Promptly report labor hours to labor program.Minimum Qualifications :
High School Diploma or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.Ability to work in a team.Understand oral and written instructions.Strong written and oral communication skills.Effective reading and writing skills.Basic math skills.Basic computer skills.Ability to properly use and read a tape measure.Ability to use small tools and equipment.Preferred Qualifications :
