Express Employment Professionals is hiring for a 'Loan Processing Supervisor' for a local Flathead Valley company!
Work schedule; Monday to Friday 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM
Responsibilities :
The position of Loan Processing Supervisor will direct loan processing operations bank-wide in accordance with the organization's Mission Statement and Core Values. The operations span the entire loan process from creating new loan documents to processing payments and creating loan files. This position will process new loans and support the department's daily operations as needed to meet exemplary customer service standards. The position requires interaction with Bank lenders, vendors and customers, and other Bank personnel on a daily basis. The position reports to the VP of Operations.
- Supervise loan processing operations. This includes coaching, disciplinary processes, and coordination of training efforts.
- Recommend staffing coverage needs. Working with Human Resources, interview and recruit as needed.
- Provide coaching and oversight with regular feedback to team members. Conduct performance reviews and develop salary recommendations.
- Monitor the loan pipeline and assign loans and other projects and duties as identified. Coordinate work schedules.
- Assist with formulating standards and setting departmental goals as well as preparing and maintaining performance plans and standards.
- Perform pre-closing reviews on all loans prior to closing to insure accuracy.
- Review and approve Real Estate Loan CD's
- Processing loans to include any of the following : completing other needed documentation, loan calculations, book loans, prepare disbursements, perfect liens, scan loan files, process payments, advance requests, provide loan ratings, payoffs, and perform account maintenance.
- Respond to customer loan inquiries.
- Process non-posts and loan suspense items regularly
- Process credit life and disability insurance documents and track bank insurance sales and incentives.
- Manage the pending exception lists.
- Complete Freddie Mac reporting : monthly reporting and EDR reporting.
- Perform quarterly collateral and safekeeping box audits.
- Provide quarterly meetings with staff to review performance.
- Provide, at minimum, monthly loan processing meetings to go over procedures and training topics.
- Work within the Diamond Point process to implement, create, and gain efficiencies within the loan department.
- Maintain knowledge of banking products, loan types and services to cross sell to customers.
- Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining knowledge of Bank policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations / compliance requirements including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act and the Office of Foreign Assets Control
Requirements :
Prior banking experience in loan processing, minimum of 2 years in clerical / admin, prior supervisory or leadership experience
