Local Sherwood machining company is looking to hire a Quality Inspector / CMM Operator . This constantly growing company is looking for capable, flexible, and dependable candidates to fill this position on the Swing Shift .
Responsibilities of the Quality Inspector / CMM Operator :
- Performing component in-process and final product acceptance activities
- Using engineering drawings and other specifications to determine product acceptance / rejection
- Documenting the inspection results in accordance with company procedures
- Identifying and reporting nonconforming materials using electronic systems
- Performing in-process floor inspection at machining centers
- Inspecting product with tolerances as low as 0.0001 inch
- Setting up and operating Coordinate Measuring machines
- Interacting with production machinists
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements for the Quality Inspector / CMM Operator :
Schedule : 4x10's, Monday-Thursday, 3pm-1am
Pay : ~$19.00- $21.00 / hr, DOE
