Located in Largo, FL

Salary: $18.00 to $21.00/Hr DOE

Hours: 7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday

Dress code: Pants, sleeves, close toed shoes

Duties / Responsibilities

• Maintains quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products, recording quality results.

• Verifies incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and dimensional inspections; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.

• Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and dimensional verifications; communicating required adjustments to production.

• Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and dimensional verifications; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work to requirements.

• Documents inspection results in job routers.

• Performs FAIs (First Article Inspection) if required; inputting data into quality database.

• Verifies equipment programming by flat pattern or CMM verification.
• Verify product as non-conforming and obtain disposition instructions.
• Verify outgoing and incoming products for outside labor services including certificates of conformance.

• Keeps measurement equipment operating in precise condition by following operating instructions; maintaining calibrations; calling for repairs when needed.

• Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with industry regulations.

• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.

Requirements

• Quality Control inspection experience
• Must be quality-minded and pay close attention to details.
• Basic equipment uses, Caliper, Micrometers, Height Gage
• Read and interpret blueprints and have knowledge of true position.
• Must follow quality and safety standards.
• Must be reliable.

Experience

• Quality Control inspection experience
• Inspection experience to ISO & AS9100 standards preferred.

Education

• High School diploma or equivalent required
