(https://www.exsif.com/careers/) The Role We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager who will report to the Controller and manage two Senior Accountants. This position also works closely with foreign business partners, functional partners, the CFO, the President and parent company management. The position is responsible for ensuring all management and parent company financial reporting is prepared accurately and timely and in compliance with GAAP and internal accounting. This position is also responsible for updating and maintaining accounting policies and procedures and enhancing processes to ensure accurate, insightful and timely reporting for our growing business. A successful candidate will be a strong leader, detail oriented, system savvy and possess a strong desire to learn. Key responsibilities include: Oversee financial closing activities, including preparation and/or review of appropriate journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis Oversee accounting and reporting of domestic and foreign business units including multiple functional and transactional currencies Interpret, analyze and communicate financial information, such as variance analysis, clearly and concisely Assist with parent company deliverables, such as monthly/quarterly financial and tax reporting Oversee tax requirements for multiple tax jurisdictions Preparation and analysis of monthly Product and Segment Reports and key statistical reporting Ensure appropriate internal controls are in place and are effective Support internal and external audits Preparation of quarterly performance reporting to third party investors Evaluate accounting processes, controls, and reporting for continuous improvement opportunities Update and maintain accounting policies and procedures Manage, motivate, and coach accounting staff Desired Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting – CPA Certification Minimum of 6 years of accounting experience – combined public and corporate experience a plus. Experience with month-end close and financial/business analytics Global accounting and operations experience, including foreign currency accounting Solid analytical and problem-solving skills Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) Process-oriented with a passion for developing best practice Solid computer skills, including MS Office Suite, Excel proficient (VLookups and Pivot tables, etc.) Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics (preferred) Following receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes as permitted or required by applicable law.
