We are seeking a dedicated Business Office Manager to oversee resident Medicaid applications, patient trust funds, accounts payable, and collections while also assisting the Admissions Department. The Business Office Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial records and seamless financial operations within the facility.

Business Office Manager Requirements:
- Minimum of two (2) years of Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) business office experience
- Competency in basic accounting and bookkeeping principles
- Strong administrative, managerial, organizational, and planning skills
- Ability to be personable and professional with residents, families, and staff
- Compassion, tolerance, and understanding for the elderly
- Knowledge of JCAHO, OBRA, IDPA, and HFS regulations related to resident funds and employee management
As a Business Office Manager, you will:
- Maintain financial files for all residents and ensure completion of necessary documentation
- Verify responsible party contact information in PCC for billing and collection purposes
- Update system records with admissions, discharges, payer changes, and income adjustments
- Utilize AR aging reports in PCC to track financials
- Attend Medicare and weekly AR meetings
- Handle collections and ensure timely payments
- Accurately record entries to the Resident Trust Fund
- Implement plans of correction required by state and federal surveys
- Serve as a weekend supervisor as part of the department head rotation
