We are seeking a dedicated Medicaid Liaison Consultant to oversee the financial and administrative operations of multiple long-term care facilities within a designated region. Focus will be on Medicaid claims.

Medicaid Liaison Consultant must have the following :

Specialized experience with Medicaid processes within the long-term care or healthcare industry.

Previous experience as a Business Office Manager in a Skilled Nursing Facility.

Able to prioritize and meet deadlines.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work well in a team setting. Positive and enthusiastic approach to tasks.

Proficient in Microsoft Word / Excel and email.

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

As a Medicaid Liaison Consultant, you will :

Verify payor source for SNF residents.

Collaborate with individual Business Office Managers to ensure timely submission of levels of care and relevant forms.

Oversee and facilitate Medicaid Pending application process and work with Business Office Managers for required documentation.

Collaborate with Business Office Managers to ensure coordinated efforts on activities.

Review report to monitor activity.

Prepare aging reports to keep supervisor informed of all outstanding balances.

Investigate and resolve issues to ensure a continuous and billable payor source.
