Job Summary: The Medicaid Liaison will guide nursing facilities and coach families through the Medicaid application process and work with them until approval has been obtained.
Job description:
- Verify payer source for all new admissions
- Collaborate with facility team to identify potential payment risks
- Direct and guide facility and families thru all steps of the Medicaid application process
- Support collections process for patient pay
- Keep current with all state Medicaid policies
- Maintain strong relationship with facility staff and patient families

Qualifications
Qualifications: Excellent communication and leadership skills, works well with others both inside and outside the organization, able to multi task with efficiency, organized and able to meet deadlines under pressure. A creative thinker and a lover of challenge will thrive in this role.
Applicant needs to have 2 years experience as a nursing home business office manager, have a strong understanding of payers and insurances, fluent in the Medicaid application process.
