- Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints, ensuring their needs are met efficiently.
- Manage reservations and maintain accurate records using hotel management software and phone systems.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services available to guests.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready for arrivals.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain the front desk area in an organized manner.
- Assist multilingual guests by providing support in their preferred language when possible.
- Uphold the hotel's standards of hospitality management by maintaining professionalism at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in guest services or front desk operations within a hotel or resort setting is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse guests; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Familiarity with hospitality management principles and practices is desirable.
- Proficiency in using phone systems and hotel management software is advantageous.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
