Exterior Cladding Systems (www.ecsinc-usa.com) is Currently seeking an entry or intermediate level Estimator within the construction industry.

We are looking for a “driven” individual that knows how to manage their time. Someone that possesses organizational skills with the energy and drive to push their tasks to completion. The candidate must be detail orientated and know how to effectively navigate through a set of Architectural plans. Candidate must enjoy working and communicating with a team. JOB OVERVIEW :

Generalized duties include : Under the direction of the Sales Team, conduct highlighted scope and product take-offs for various building envelope scope items utilizing take-off software. Thoroughly review project specifications, request quotes from various suppliers and prepare pricing and proposal templates for final pricing. Submit, and conduct regular follow-ups on proposals, and update the company bid log accordingly. If the Candidate is successful, the position may transition into an Estimating / Inside Sales role.

Inside Sales responsibilities may include maintaining a client book of business, make calls to current, past or potential new customers. Occasional client visits on an on-going basis.

A general understanding of construction principles and the ability to read a set of plans is required. Additional knowledge in MS Word, Excel and Outlook is required to successfully execute job duties. Continued industry, product and software specific training will be provided.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR :

EDUCATION : Associates' degree and / or Certificate in Construction Management, Marketing, or Project Management is preferred.

LICENSING : Valid Driver’s License

EXPERIENCE : 1 years’ experience within the construction industry.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES : Candidates must be able to…

• Effectively communicate both written and verbally, throughout all levels of the organization both internally and externally. This includes General Contractors, Architects, Customers and other Trade Partners.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment, able to multitask with ease, and work well under pressure.
• Poses the ability to understand and interpret basic shop drawings and architectural plans.
• Obtaining Vendor / Supplier quotations. Comparing, negotiating and purchasing project related materials & services.
• Compile, issue and follow up on RFI’s, Addendums and Change Order Requests while maintaining project files.
• Must have the ability to be organized, prioritize workload and timely follow up on tasks.
• Performs reviews of the estimating process and provide suggestions for improvements that may be beneficial to the continued growth of the company.
• Work collaboratively with other departments and divisions to provide support and / or request assistance as needed.
• Provide management with critical information as needed.
• Employ and Display “lead by example” mentality.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Candidates may be required to successfully pass a post-offer, pre-employment criminal background check and drug test. The Candidates driving record must be acceptable to be added to our General Liability Auto Insurance policy.

COMPENSATION PACKAGE :

Pay will be dependent on experience and specific qualifications. Additional benefits are available including PTO, a company cost shared medical plan, dental, vision and 401k.
