As a Home Equity Loan Processor, the duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Performing various processing duties of new consumer home equity mortgage loans
- Send early disclosures
- Order underwriting documents
- Perform both processing and closing functions on HELOCs (Home Equity Lines of Credit).
Qualified candidates will be required to have a high school diploma, GED or HSED and one (1) year of general lending experience. Previous home equity lending experience would be a plus, but not required. Altra would like our candidates to have a good understanding of credit union polices, systems, documents, home equity vendors, NCUA regulations, and other laws pertaining to home equity/mortgage lending. Knowledge of home equity/mortgage lending software programs and applications is preferred, but not required.
This position is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday; between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Position may require occasional Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
