Must be able to work with individuals with variety of needs including personal care needs and challenging behaviors. The Floater is responsible for implementing and documenting daily teaching program activities as outlined in the individuals' program plans. Will teach and assist individuals with daily living skills, personal care, meal preparation, and social and recreational activities. Will monitor individuals (at night if working a graveyard shift) and perform housekeeping duties as assigned. Assist individuals while at emergency room and give accurate information to doctors and nurses. Ensure daily routines of individuals. Must be a great communicator and networker with others.
This position requires a high school diploma or GED. 6 months experience working with persons with developmental disabilities preferred. Specific experience working with a broad range of disabilities including extensive personal care and aggressive behaviors is strongly preferred. Must have demonstrated ability to provide effective teaching and behavioral supports to persons with developmental disabilities. Must be available to work at least 1 day on the weekend and use of personal vehicle for location change mid-shift. Weekend only shifts available also!

Hours per week: 40
Schedule: Flexible as Determined. One weekend day is mandatory.
Wage: Wage: $17.25 - $18.45 per hour depending on shift.
Salary : $17 - $18
