What are the responsibilities and job description for the Distribution Attendant (Weekend Shift: 6:30am-6:30pm) position at External?
General Duties:
- Prepare Customer Orders for Shipping (picking, packing, staging: Performing RF Functions; preparing required and correct paperwork)
- Checking Inventory
- Receiving / Locating Stock/ Load trucks/ unloading shipments according to SOP
- Stock Placement
- Warehouse Maintenance
- Other miscellaneous duties as required by Distribution Center Manager or Lead person
- Stay up to date on all required Training and SOPs
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED (Preferred)
- Valid SC Driver’s License; Must have own transportation
- Forklift Licensed; Experienced driving Stand-up Forklift
- Warehouse Shipping / Receiving Experience, minimum of 1 year
- Working knowledge of SAP system, Console RF System helpful
- Ability to Operate Material Handling Equipment including pallet jack, forklift and/or order picker
- Good Math and Writing Skills; Self Starter and Motivated
- Able to perform Heavy Lifting, Material Handling
- Walking/standing 8-12 hours a day
- Excellent attendance and punctuality
- Willingness to work Overtime as required
Requirements:
- Candidates must have effective use of all four limbs.
- Must have good eye, hand and feet coordination.
- Must have corrected vision that meets the same requirements as those for a valid / applicable state driver’s license.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs (Product weight varies)
