Responsibilities
Marketing Automation & Campaign Execution
Build, execute, and optimize email marketing campaigns, landing pages, and lead nurture programs in Marketo.
Ensure proper audience segmentation, personalization, and A/B testing for continuous performance improvement.
Collaborate with sales and demand generation teams to ensure lead scoring, routing, and follow-ups are aligned with business goals.
Copywriting & Content Development
Develop engaging email copy, landing page content, ad copy, and campaign messaging that aligns with SHRM’s brand voice and resonates with key audiences.
Optimize copy for clarity, engagement, and conversion across multiple marketing channels.
Assist in the creation of marketing assets, including brochures, one-pagers, and promotional content.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Demand Generation, Content, Brand, and Product Marketing teams to ensure marketing initiatives align with overall strategy.
Partner with sales enablement to support the creation of materials that enhance lead conversion and pipeline growth.
Performance Analysis & Optimization
Track and analyze email and campaign performance metrics to inform optimization strategies.
Provide insights on email deliverability, open rates, click-through rates, and lead conversions to improve engagement.
Maintain data integrity and ensure marketing automation processes align with best practices.
Project Management & Execution
Manage the execution of marketing campaigns from concept to deployment, ensuring all assets and content meet deadlines.
Maintain best practices in Marketo campaign setup, testing, and reporting.
Stay up to date on marketing automation trends, email best practices, and industry innovations.
Education & Experience Requirements
Education:
Germane degree and non-degree credentials or other verifications of skills and competencies will be considered.
Experience:
3-5 years of experience in marketing automation, email marketing, or digital marketing, preferably in both B2B and B2C environments.
Hands-on experience with Marketo.
Experience analyzing campaign performance using Marketo, Google Analytics, or other marketing analytics tools.
Experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) and integrating them with Marketo preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong copywriting and content development skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audience segments.
Understanding of lead nurturing, segmentation, and marketing automation workflows.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining strong attention to detail.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively across teams.
Knowledge of SEO, paid media, or social media marketing preferred.
Familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or similar CMS platforms preferred.
Background in HR, membership organizations, or events marketing preferred.
Certifications
Marketo Certified Associate (MCA), Marketo Certified Expert (MCE), and/or Marketo Certified Solutions Architect (MCSA) a plus.

The office environment includes a standard workstation setup with collaborative spaces, while remote work requires a reliable high-speed internet connection and a suitable home workspace. Employees must maintain availability during standard business hours and adhere to company policies for both in-office and remote work.

The hiring range for this position is $78,000 to $95,000 per year. This range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications.
