Job Summary
The Community-Based Services Supervisor plays a vital role in growing the Community-Based Services business for foster care adjacent services. This position will oversee all sales, marketing, and operations in the Community-based Services Department and ensures compliance with all contract requirements and services to meet company standards and goals.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales and Marketing
- Work with ESP marketing resources to develop and distribute marketing materials supporting the selling of CBS.
- Develop and execute a marketing plan to include mail, email, and conference attendance.
- Create and maintain CBS's potential clients list for each locality in company CRM.
- Achieve annual budgeted sales and profit goals.
- Provide recommendations on pricing for services and expansion by office, locality
Operations
- Responsible for overseeing and developing the team, including recruitment and retention, hiring, orientation, supervision, evaluation and promotion.
- Responsible for all staff scheduling for CBS and ensuring delivery of contracted service hours.
- Ensure the community-based service staff adheres to all licensing requirements per Virginia Licensed Child Placing Agency (LCPA) standards, the company’s policies and procedures, and DSS/Locality contracts.
- Verify the community-based service support specialists have documented observations, progress, and concerns in the client’s chart. Edit as needed.
- Coordinate with referring agencies regarding discharge. Counsel clients and families in preparation for discharge.
Administrative
- Lead individual and group supervision meetings for all staff supervised.
- Provide weekly and monthly reporting for billing and monitoring department revenue, costs, and profit.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- A bachelor's degree is required, and 5 years’ work experience in the operations of youth programs.
- 5 years of supervisory experience required.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS
- Ability to observe, assess, and record symptoms, reactions, and progress.
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply rules, regulations, policies, objectives, and standards.
- Ability to work effectively with staff and partners to oversee and manage treatment programs and services.
- Ability to work with various behaviors and personalities and remain a neutral party.
- Ability to tolerate verbal and mental abuse while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet inflexible deadlines, set priorities, manage difficult individuals, and supervise others.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Ability to maintain appropriate confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA requirements.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- This position will require a driver's license valid in the state where the worksite is located.
- This position requires evenings, weekends, and possibly holidays.
- This position will require travel to clients and other ESP offices. Limited overnight travel.
This position is eligible to receive a $15K bonus band on achievable goals.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
