About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and analytical Director of Business Intelligence & Strategy to drive high-impact strategic initiatives across our Product Organization , spanning Product Management, Software Development, Quality Assurance, and Product Operations . This role will focus on process engineering for software product development , leveraging data-driven insights to optimize processes, improve efficiency, and enhance overall execution.
The ideal candidate has a consulting background with experience in technology and digital transformation projects , preferably within networking and security or product operations . They must be highly skilled in diagnosing root causes, structuring problem-solving approaches, and delivering measurable results while engaging stakeholders effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Project Leadership
Lead and execute strategic initiatives within the Product Organization, ensuring alignment with business goals and priorities.
Evaluate, design, and implement scalable processes to enhance efficiency in software product development, from ideation to release.
Utilize data analysis and qualitative insights (interviews, workshops, etc.) to diagnose challenges, develop hypotheses, and implement effective solutions.
Define key KPIs, set operational thresholds, and implement program management frameworks to monitor and continuously improve processes.
Partner with leaders across Product Management, Engineering, QA, and Product Operations to align strategies, resolve roadblocks, and drive the adoption of best practices.
Develop clear, concise updates for executives and cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and transparency on project progress.
Establish governance structures, ensure stakeholder buy-in, and iterate on improvements to ensure long-term impact.
Qualifications & Experience
Experience in a top-tier consulting firm (e.g., McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Deloitte, Accenture, etc.) with a focus on technology, digital transformation, or product operations.
Exposure to networking, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, or enterprise software is a strong plus.
Proven ability to design and implement structured business processes, performance measurement systems, and continuous improvement programs.
Ability to synthesize data, conduct root cause analysis, develop actionable recommendations, and drive execution.
Excellent ability to engage, influence, and present findings to senior executives and cross-functional teams.
Experience driving strategic initiatives from concept to implementation, balancing high-level thinking with execution rigour.
