Purpose
The Human Resources Manager plans, coordinates, and manages the human resources functions for Extremity Care. Responsible for employment policies and procedures, overseeing employee relations, retention and recognition programs as well as serving as a strategic partner to the Extremity Care management team. The HR Manager consults with the executive team on strategic planning and serves as a link between management and its employees.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies, systems, initiatives, and procedures aligned with the overall business strategy
- Support current and future business needs through development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to develop leadership in direct reports and department management
- Manage direct reports by establishing and monitoring objective annual goals to drive performance and development
- Ensure compliance with all FMLA, ADA, WC, and EEO laws and requirements
- Collaborate with managers to address performance issues, ensuring alignment with company policies and fostering a culture of accountability and support
- Support payroll functions as needed for Extremity Care
- Manage the Onboarding Process of new hires and ensure all new employees are properly trained and equipped
- Manage the HR policies, make recommendations on necessary revisions, and ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations
- Maintain a working knowledge of FDA 21 CFR 1271, FDA 21 CFR 820, AATB standards, ISO Standards, cGMP/CGTP, other relevant regulations/standards, and internal organizational policies and standard operating procedures
- Conduct performance reviews and establish performance improvement plans as needed
- Travel domestically up to 15% to attend offsite meetings, conferences, and support business initiatives
- Maintain flexibility to work outside of normal business hours during weekdays or weekends with reasonable advance notice to support business/operational needs when necessary
- Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or related field, from an accredited college or university required
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in human resources, including demonstrated leadership responsibilities, required
- Additional relevant work experience may be substituted for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly preferred
- Clearance of favorable background investigation required
