The Commercial Manager - TFS is responsible for managing all commercial aspects of the TFS construction project portfolio.

As a wholly owned subsidiary of Exyte Group, Total Facility Solutions (TFS) provides solutions that are designed to deliver mechanical, electrical, and process piping systems to all markets. As a specialty process piping and wet mechanical contractor, we provide facility construction services for leaders in advanced technology and biopharma. We are a privately held specialty contractor operating nationwide, with more than $200 million in annual revenue and 1,000 employees.

The Commercial Manager - TFS is responsible for managing all commercial aspects of the TFS construction project portfolio.
Explore Your Tasks And Responsibilities
- Provides commercial oversight over the TFS construction project portfolio
- Provides mentorship, training and oversight to staff regarding commercial matters
- Expert in Client Contract Management and Strategies, and experienced in multiple forms of construction and forms of standard contract
- Establishes and ensures company project controls policies are implemented
- Supports and ensures risk analysis is developed and maintained
- Expected to build strong relationships with client consultants, representatives, Project Director and internal operations teams
- With the procurement team, develops contract strategies and reviews bid/contract documents
- Makes assessments of supply chain change orders, extensions of time and contractual claims
- Temporary fill in for project controls as required
- Temporary fill in for project finance as required, specifically as it relates to monthly commercial reviews
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Construction Management or related field preferred
- Master’s degree preferred
- 10 years of progressive experience in accounting/forecasting or similar with a focus for construction projects
- 15 years of experience preferred
- Previous experience in a construction environment providing budgetary and financial oversight and management for large projects is required
- Experience working with corporate decision makers and managing negotiations is a priority
- Previous experience in support operations for the semiconductor industry or similar high-tech manufacturing/construction is preferred
