Explore Your Tasks And Responsibilities
Engineering Design Support:
- Assist in designing electrical systems, including power, lighting, controls, and grounding, for high-technology facilities.
- Support electrical engineering calculations for equipment sizing, feeder sizing, and equipment selection to meet project requirements.
- Contribute to the development of conceptual, preliminary, and final design documents, including power diagrams, equipment layouts, and system controls.
- Ensure designs are accurate, compliant with standards, and align with project goals.
- Provide specialized technical input to support design studies and specific project needs.
- Assist in preparing engineering studies and analyses to optimize system performance and efficiency.
- Work closely with project teams, other disciplines, and design offices to ensure seamless integration and project alignment.
- Foster strong communication and collaboration across all levels of the project team.
- Participate in additional tasks and assignments as needed to support the electrical engineering team and project success.
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Junior or Senior standing with a GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
- Previous internship experience in a project team environment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, and electrical system design is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Eagerness to learn, adapt, and contribute to innovative engineering solutions.
