The Manager Engineering & Design Management performs a variety
of different but established and related work tasks or
procedures. Independently decides which rules, processes,
materials or equipment to use to accomplish the work
assignment. Provides Supervision to their functional team.
Performs complex functions, establishes priorities, resolves
issues. Plans, develops and implements functions/projects for
functional unit(s) or teams(s).
- Responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising work of a staff of engineers and designers.
- Manage a team of 4-5 professionals.
- Supports proposal manager, develops tools to improve proposal development.
- Supports sustainable solutions within projects.
- Develop new policy, procedures, guidelines, continuous improvement plan.
- Organize and lead discipline meetings. Actively participate in cross-discipline meetings.
- Develops training programs to promote cross-discipline coordination, leads cross-check meetings.
- Supports staff in TVD on projects and facilitates development of TVD tools, methods and Design Guide.
- Understand and manage QA process for discipline.
- Develops new specs and data sheets, awareness of quality and execution procedures.

Show your expertise- 10 years of experience showing increasing responsibility leading teams
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- Team management
- Excellent knowledge of all discipline scope
- Ability to assist in producing and presenting outside company
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- High degree of creativity, foresight, and mature judgment in planning, organizing, and guiding extensive design programs and activities of outstanding novelty and/or importance
- Working knowledge of building components, process, mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred
- Professional Engineering or Architect License preferred
