You will be responsible for managing a mechanical design team that develops mechanical components for Aerospace applications within the Mechanical Systems and Components (MS&C) organization at Honeywell Aerospace.
This team ensures that the design integrity of our mechanical systems and components is preserved via thorough execution of dedicated design processes, criteria and guidelines. Our offerings include additive, mechanical design, as well as automation and standards support, coupled with a state of the art toolbox to ensure high quality & accuracy.
Our team locations include Tempe AZ, Phoenix AZ and Torrance CA. Our products include Pneumatic Controls, Air Turbine Start Systems, Actuation Systems, Cabin Pressure Control Systems and the Turbomachinery product line.
One of your main focuses will be on the career development of your team and setting and implementing the strategic direction for your organization. You will ensure that Honeywell products are designed as the highest quality in their category and continue to build brand awareness through effective engineering and design implementation. You will work closely with Project Engineers, Chief Engineers, Product Managers, and Engineering Testing Labs. You will develop and implement effective strategies to optimize our ability to develop new products efficiently.
