The Senior Manager Proposal Management is responsible for managing regional proposals and presentations for data center construction projects by coordinating closely with the Project Manager and/or Proposal Lead to deliver high-quality and timely proposals and presentations.

Explore Your Tasks And Responsibilities

• Provide consistency in terms of strategy and messaging across proposals, presentations, and client positioning meetings.
• Plan and drive to ensure that bid/no bid, strategy, and price-to-win discussions take place for all regional accounts.
• Support the preparation of RBU and Board Risk Reviews.
• Act as the central Manager during the development of RFP/RFQ/RFI.
• Act as a liaison with the sales, marketing, and operations departments to solicit, review, and assess the organization's ability to fulfill the terms of RFPs.
• Evaluate and approve content for inclusion in proposals or bids, including project scope, proposed solution, timeline and price, references, contract terms and conditions, and team member biographies.
• Lead and manage the graphics and graphic design, overseeing word processing, printing, and the delivery of accompanying presentations.
• Ensure that proposals are completed and submitted by the deadline.
• Lead and direct the work of other employees
• Develop proposal management tools, systems, and information for use across the region.
• Execute established policies and procedures but may have some impact on departmental budgeting, strategic planning, and procedural changes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Required

• Education: Bachelor’s in Business, Economics, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 10 years of experience.
  
  

Preferred

• Master’s degree
• Prior experience in the construction and/or engineering industry, specifically in data center construction, is preferred.
• Prior sales leadership experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the field's concepts and principles.
• Ability to perform complex tasks typically following established processes.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Exceptional organization, coordination, alignment, and collaboration skills.
• Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft products (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
