What are the responsibilities and job description for the Leave Management SME- Contractor position at EY?
We currently have a contract opportunity for a Leave Management SME to lend specific subject matter knowledge around Workday, leave and HR related requests.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in HR with a focus on Human Capital Management, specifically in time, absence, and attendance.
- Deep understanding of Workday methodologies and hands-on experience with system configuration to meet business requirements.
- Experience in report writing or possession of Workday HCM certification is highly desired.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively manage client expectations and deliver clear guidance.
- Background in HR generalist roles, preferably with experience in large organizations such as Sedgwick or Giya, and familiarity with European regulations.
Qualifications:
- Guide clients and EY teams through the transformation, implementation, and operational phases of Workday implementations, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Analyze and inventory various leave policies and practices globally, focusing on government-mandated leave such as medical, maternity, and paternity leave.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to build standardized leave management processes, identifying opportunities for offshore management and centralization.
- Document and configure leave management requirements in Workday, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and organizational needs.
- Leverage technical aptitude to support system configuration, report writing, and overall HCM functionality, while assisting in the transition of processes to offshore teams.
The expected pay rate range for this contract assignment is $140-170 per hour. Exact pay rate will vary based on skills, experience, and location.
