What are the responsibilities and job description for the Personnel Security Specialist - Contractor position at EY?
We currently have opportunities for Personnel Security Specialists- Contractor
- Deliver complete and accurate case file packages to the government that are ready for further adjudicative processing based on applicable handbooks and processing guides
- Initiate employees’ Electronic Questionnaire for Investigations Processing(e-QIP) or successor system; ensure submission of fingerprints-Responsible for the receiving, screening, validation and processing of documents and case files
- Assist in preparation for security audits and end-of-day procedures, be responsible for the reception area for access control, badging of visitors, mail receipt and delivery and other ancillary duties and projects expected in a professional office environment
- Enter all required data into the PERSEC Systems accurately, DCMS-34 estimates annual case requests at approximately 12,000
- Interact directly with SECCEN customers via telephone and email correspondence
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of previous experience adjudicating personnel security background investigations for eligibility and suitability for federal government employment
- Must be detailed oriented, have great documentation skills and strong organizational skills
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook Theoretical and practical project management knowledge
- Role requires contractors to be onsite in Chesapeake, VA
- Bachelor's degree required
The expected pay rate range for this contract assignment is $35.00-40.00 per hour. Exact pay rate will vary based on skills, experience, and location.
