The Financial Operations Analyst is responsible for assisting the finance team in the detailed financial analysis of EyeCare Partners healthcare operations. This role reports directly to the Manager of Operational Finance, and partners primarily with the Ophthalmology division leadership teams to review and interpret financial results, drive operational improvements and efficiencies.

The position hybrid and will sit onsite at our Corporate HQ in Ballwin, Missouri 3-4 days / week

The ideal candidate will be detail oriented with a focus on growth, margin and profitability goals and contribute as a valued member of the team. The Financial Analyst develops, executes, and analyzes financial reports / models that aid in the decision making of the company. This strategic role will be responsible for the effective interpretation of financial information to identify key issues and strategies that support the company's operational plan. Provide substantially improved and actionable recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities.

Responsibilities

Execute analytics projects to extract, manage and analyze data from multiple applications.

Apply statistics and data modeling to gain actionable business insights and boost cluster productivity and revenue

Utilize analyses to drive financial results and maximize sales, inventory turnover and gross profit.

Collaborate with cross-functional partners to provide updated financial forecasts for sales and margin throughout the year.

Create tools to maintain and review volume / revenue / cost performance and reporting.

Perform any / all ad hoc analysis as needed to support operations issues / considerations / concerns. Drive timely and effective communication with business partners

Adheres to all safety policies and procedures in performing job duties and responsibilities while supporting a culture of high quality and great customer service.

Performs other duties that may be necessary or in the best interest of the organization.

Experience Requirements

3 years of experience in analytics positions or similar role

Experience analyzing current trends and forecasting future trends.

Be able to draw conclusions from data – not just report it – and communicate in a simple, straight-forward manner.

Customer-focused with excellent written, listening and verbal communication skills

Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable

Exhibits a positive attitude and is flexible in accepting work assignments and priorities

Management and organizational skills to support the leadership of this function

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook

PowerBI and SQL preferred

Knowledge of state and federal regulations for this position; general understanding of HIPAA guidelines
