EYE-Q Vision Care is seeking applicants for the position of Patient Services Representative to join our Optical Department. We are seeking an employee with great interpersonal skills who can develop relationships with patients and staff. This person will be responsible for answering phone calls, scheduling optical appointments, and collecting patient information. These procedures will require a technologically-savvy candidate with world-class customer service.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greets and checks in optical patients.
- Returns voicemails in a timely manner.
- Updates statuses in "NextGen Optical" when jobs are inspected.
- Prints next day's appointments and pulls all jobs to be delivered.
- Communicates with lab to find out when jobs will be received.
- Mails letters to patients that did not show for their delivery appointments.
- Shreds all patient information at the end of the day.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Exceptional customer service, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Ability to use or learn computer programs such as Microsoft and NextGen.
- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively in a fastpaced work environment.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Sixmonths to oneyear related experience and/or technical school training.
Preference will be given to applicants with experience in an optical setting. This is a full-time position with a benefits package. Hourly rate will be determined based on experience and training of the candidate.

POSITION LOCATION: EYE-Q Vision Care practice sites are located in Clovis, Fresno, and Selma. Must be able to travel to each location.

PAY RANGE: $21.00 - $26.20 depending on skills, experience, and education.
