Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Optometrist to join our team, providing care at both our Sacramento, CA (95819) and Folsom, CA (95630) locations. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to provide primary vision care, including comprehensive eye exams, disease diagnosis and treatment, and corrective lens prescriptions. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive eye exams to assess visual acuity and detect eye conditions.
• Diagnose and treat ocular diseases such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy.
• Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other visual aids as needed.
• Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries.
• Educate patients on eye care practices and the importance of regular exams.
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for integrated patient care.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Active State Licensure to practice optometry.
• Strong knowledge of ocular diseases, medical terminology, and treatment options.
• Experience in comprehensive eye exams and diagnosing vision conditions.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
• Familiarity with medical coding and billing (preferred).
• Ability to work with diverse patient populations, including seniors.

Compensation & Benefits:
