Nursing Leadership Opportunity
The Eye Surgery Center of Elizabethtown seeks an experienced Charge Nurse to lead our nursing team and provide exceptional patient care. As a leader in our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing nursing staff, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the nursing team and coordinate clinical activities in the operating room
- Manage nursing staff, including scheduling, breaks, and lunches
- Enforce policies and procedures to maintain a clean, orderly, and safe environment
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program required
- Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
- Valid Kentucky Registered Nurse (RN) License required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Adult Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
- At least 1 year of Charge Nurse/management experience is required, preferably in an Operating Room, Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC), and/or hospital
- Must have previous Nursing experience in at least one of the following settings: Operating Room (OR), Pre-Op/Post-Op, Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
