We are searching for a highly skilled Charge Nurse to join our team at Eye Surgery Center of Elizabethtown. As Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our ambulatory surgery facility.
- You will ensure smooth coordination and delivery of patient care.
- Maintain compliance with healthcare standards and provide compassionate patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Direct Patient Care
- Provide direct patient care and maintain a clean, orderly, and safe environment.
- Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care of patients.
2. Team Supervision
- Supervise a diverse team and maintain effective communication with patients, families, physicians, and other staff.
- Recognize each department's significance and work appropriately with other departments.
3. Performance Expectations
- Critical Thinking: Assess, prioritize, plan, and implement patient care in an effective manner.
- Interpersonal: Demonstrate a positive, friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
Requirements:
- Valid Kentucky Registered Nurse (RN) License required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
