Job Overview
The Eye Surgery Center of Elizabethtown seeks an experienced Charge Nurse to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Ambulatory Surgery Center. As a key member of our team, you will ensure high-quality patient care and coordinate nursing staff to maintain a safe and efficient environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations and ensure compliance with established standards
- Coordinate nursing staff and manage schedules to optimize patient care
- Participate in direct patient care and maintain a clean, orderly, and safe environment
Requirements
- At least 1 year of Charge Nurse/management experience in an Operating Room, Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC), or hospital
- Previous experience in an Operating Room (OR), Pre-Op/Post-Op, Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- Valid Kentucky Registered Nurse (RN) License required; BLS certification also required
