Job Summary
The Eye Surgery Center of Elizabethtown is seeking a skilled and experienced Operating Room Leader to lead our operating room team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient running of the operating room, maintaining high standards of patient care, and supervising a team of nursing staff.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate daily activities in the operating room, enforcing policies to ensure seamless operations
- Supervise and direct patient care, ensuring that proper techniques and practices are used in accordance with accepted standards of practice
- Participate in continuing education/in-service training as needed, staff meetings, and the QAPI/Infection Control programs
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of Charge Nurse/management experience, preferably in an Operating Room, Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC), or hospital
- Experience managing a team of at least 20 direct reports is preferred
- Must have previous Nursing experience in at least one of the following settings: Operating Room (OR), Pre-Op/Post-Op, Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
