Eye Surgical Associates, the premier ophthalmology clinic in Lincoln, NE. We take pride in our extensive experience in providing both medical and surgical treatment for a variety of eye conditions.
Our dedicated team consists of ten highly esteemed ophthalmologists and two proficient optometrists, all of whom possess a wealth of experience in their fields. This collective expertise ensures that our patients receive the highest level of care, as we are committed to safeguarding and enhancing their vision.

Hours: Full time, 80 hired hours per pay period (2 weeks); Monday - Friday, with availability from 6:45 am - 5:00 pm; occasional travel; 4 Saturday shifts per year.
Skills and Competencies:
- Willingness to learn ophthalmic terminology and become proficient with diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to learn to perform basic diagnostic tests and operate equipment with guidance.
- Strong organizational skills and eagerness to take on multiple tasks.
- Adaptability and openness to learning new procedures and technology in the ophthalmic field.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic tests on patients of all ages.
- Responsible for rooming patient and taking patient history such as reason for visit, medication, medical history and visual acuity.
- Position will cross train in a variety of specialties within ophthalmology.
- Position will assist ophthalmologists with patient exams and procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- No prior experience required—training will be provided.
- A genuine interest in developing a career in the ophthalmic or medical field.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions carefully.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a desire to work as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills and ability to manage office tasks.
- Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Medication Aide licensure
- We provide on the job training and time to complete your Medication Aide certification
