What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ophthalmic Technician position at EyeCare Associates of South Tulsa?

Position Requirements:
Previous experience is great but certainly not required. We have an excellent training program; therefore, with an energetic personality and willingness to learn we can provide you with the necessary skills to be a great technician.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Prepare exam rooms and patients for eye examinations
- Perform preliminary eye testing
- Assist with patient procedures
- Coordinate patient flow
- Occasional travel to support nearby offices may be requested

PHYSICAL DEMANDS (per ADA guidelines): Physical Activity: Standing for sustained periods of time, Stooping, Grasping, Lifting, Talking, Hearing. Physical requirements: Light work. Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. on a regular basis from floor to waist, 5 lbs. from waist to shoulder, and 5 lbs. from shoulder to overhead.
The worker is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned.
