• Salary range: $70-85,000 base salary

About the position:
The Retail Project Manager is a critical role responsible for the growth and strategy for new business opportunities. This is inclusive of new store openings, store acquisitions, and new program pilots to innovate the core business model. You will use your business operations skills to oversee and spearhead the efforts to successfully introduce new project plans and build upon established practices.

What You Can Expect to Do:

• Project Management: Develop and Execute New Products or Business Launch Plans: Prepare detailed launch plans with the resources, timeframes, and necessary communication to maintain launch date goals. You are proficient in project management software and have sound understanding of how to lead a status update call. Ensure that project goals and milestones are met on time and within budget constraints.
• Operations and Training: Interview, onboard and train team members; teach optical skills and operations processes to maintain Eyemart standards. Review all training materials and deliver training to team, while on site. Maintain a fun, engaging environment to aid in content retention and showcase the Eyemart culture. Brand ambassador to set the stage for operational workflow expectations. Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify and understand training needs that align with our organization's strategic goals. Create an environment and culture centered around growth and development to successfully launch new business endeavors.
• Collaboration: You will work with multiple departments to facilitate the launch of a new program, store, or acquisition. This collaboration includes maintaining records of deliverables, tasks, and requirements to open on time and successfully.
• Communication: Establish a clear channel of communication to deliver timely messaging and announcements to all stakeholders. You proactively share updates, inform departments, and identify risks associated with launch plans. Communication is comprehensive and includes all details for the individual assignment. You take an innovative approach to ensuring information is shared through the right channels.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Education: High school diploma or GED
• Experience: Previous retail, optical, customer service or medical experience.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Computer Literacy: Ability to navigate project management software. Experience with optical sales management software.
• Environment: Fast paced environment with a need to stand for prolonged periods of time. Ability to lift 25lbs, lift or carry boxes.
• Ability to Travel: 75%
