Responsibilities:
- Assist patients in selecting eyewear that suits their style and vision needs.
- Take precise measurements and ensure proper frame adjustments for an optimal fit.
- Educate patients on lens options, coatings, pricing, and insurance benefits.
- Process and verify lens orders, including ordering uncut lenses and edging them in-house using lab equipment.
- Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy and craftsmanship of completed eyewear.
- Maintain inventory for lenses and optical supplies, placing orders as needed.
- Troubleshoot and maintain optical lab equipment to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with the optometry team to deliver a seamless and efficient patient experience.
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and ensure confidentiality of patient information.
