What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receptionist position at Eyetastic Services?
We are hiring a Front Desk Receptionist for an amazing eye care practice in Olathe, KS, where you can look forward to significantly impacting patients' lives in a supportive and innovative healthcare environment! Previous experience in eye care is not required, as full training will be given.
The Front Desk Receptionist will be integral to the patient care experience, performing essential duties including, but not limited to :
- Greeting and checking in patients as they arrive, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere
- Scheduling and confirming appointments and managing the calendar effectively to optimize patient flow
- Collecting and verifying patient insurance information, processing payments, and maintaining accuracy in billing.
- Assisting patients with inquiries about services, treatments, and procedures, providing clear and helpful information.
- Maintaining organized patient records and files, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
- Coordinating communication between patients and optometrists, facilitating follow-up care and referrals as needed.
- Handling administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing correspondence.
- Assisting with basic clinical tasks such as preparing exam rooms and assisting during patient exams when necessary.
Hourly pay ranges from $15.00 to $20.00, depending on experience, and full-time employees qualify for a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, a 401(k) with company match, and paid time off. Also, four-day workweek options are available!
